It’s time for the Monday Night at the Vertical City Cantina: Episode 3 Recap.
For this weeks episode of Monday Night at the Vertical City Cantina, as promised I started out tonight with a Republic toon: The Trooper. We begin our journey on the war torn planet of Ord Mantell. Our new hero is a new recruit to the famous Havoc Squad, an elite Republic specials forces unit. Havoc squad is on, Ord Mantell a planet in the middle of a rebellion, a separatists group bent on overthrowing the Government and breaking from the planets alliance with the Republic has stolen a super weapon. This super weapon is a bomb with the capacity to vaporize a huge area.
The highlights for the video, this week were pretty low key, I wanted to point out Havoc Squad, as this group will be very important to the future of the Trooper’s story, I promise you’ll want to know what each of those folks do. I also took a few moments to talk about what I want to see for the future of Star Wars: The Old Republic. I don’t think my interest in an actual expansion to individual class story-lines is anything that would be unpopular with most players and I’d like to hear from all of you what you would like to see in the future.
We did a couple of prize giveaways during the show. So congratulations to our lucky winners. We randomly gave out two Taun Taun Fawn codes to viewers. I really want to do more giveaways in the future as the ability arises, so remember, you don’t know when they’ll happen, and you can’t win if you don’t watch.
Next week we’ll be going back to the Imperial Agent: Sniper, where we’ll start exploring Dromund Kaas. What adventures will the planets jungles hold for us? The week after we’ll work on finishing up more of Ord Mantell with our trooper, and hopefully be in position to pick up our Advanced Class. What that Advanced class will be I’m not sure yet.
