Poor British man turned Pirate turned Assassin sounds like the plot from HBO, or so Ashraf Ismail believes. He wants a more grounded portrayal of Pirate style, government and history. After the dull, in parts, take of the American Revolution then any take on Pirates cannot be as comedic as Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean and would truly bring a refreshing take of a genre tramped into the ground nearly as much as zombies, vampires and werewolves!
