Extra Life 2015: Help Us Raise Money for Kids!
BALTIMORE, MD–The Noobist and Noobist.TV are proud to support Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals this fall by hosting a gamer-powered, 24-hour live fundraiser beginning November 7th, 2015, at 8:00 AM EST.
Extra Life, a gaming industry-sponsored charity organization established in 2008, mobilizes tens of thousands of gamers every year for fund raising marathons. These tax-deductable contributions benefit over 170 different hospitals in the CMN. Since its launch seven years ago, Extra Life participants have raised over $14 million, including over $6 million raised in 2014, alone!
Team Noobist
Team Noobist is on a mission to save kids through video games, but we need your help! We are raising money this year to support Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, MD, where numerous children are treated each year, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents, to name just a few. On November 7th, we invite you to partner with us by offering a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to kids at Children’s National Medical Center. Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
Last year, Team Noobist raised over $700 for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC! Read a recap of the event here. This year, we are hoping to raise at least $500 for Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
