Reddit users have potentially outed another ‘Games with Gold’ feature with an image that has been posted on the site. It appears to be titled ‘Free Play Day With Gold’, and could offer Xbox One users the opportunity of playing select games for up to 24 hours, for absolutely free.
As the image below shows, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, a game previously offered for free on Games with Gold, has the text ‘Free Play Day with Gold’ alongside Strike Suit Zero and Crimson Dragon which are the two August GwG offerings.
It has yet to be officially announced, however the Xbox Support Twitter account kind of let the cat out the bag when responding to enquiries about the service.
It could be a great compromise to the lack of demo’s on the one hand and could lead many to question Sony’s decision to charge $3 for a mere 4 hours rental of their Playstation Now library (a price which is subject to change).
