Howdy Cowboy! Gunpowder Rides Into the AppStore

Independent games developing company, Rogue Rocket Games announced yesterday that their new game called Gunpowder, a charming Wild West themed physics puzzler game is set to arrive on the AppStore on the 31 March 2015. It’s going to be listed as a “Pay Once, and Play” game.

The co-founders of Rogue Rocket Games were involved in past projects such as Earthworm Jim, MDK, and Escape from Monkey Island, which gives a clue as the level of graphics and adventure of this new game, Gunpowder will be explosive. This game blends addictive timed puzzles with gameplay that everyone from different ages will enjoy.

The game synopsis is that a guy named Boss Grimshaw swindles the innocent people of their gold and a lone hero, Incendo emerges and is determined to take down this criminal!.

Gunpowder is a Robin Hood style game and Incendo wants Grimshaw to pay through the nose so with nothing other than a keg of Gunpowder, Incendo sets off to tip the scales in his favor! Players must blast Grimshaw’s safes in order to grab the stolen gold and return it to the townspeople.

Gunpowder is a physics based game with beautiful artwork, a great backstory, and clever game design. With a simple swipe of the finger, Gunpowder is an easy game to pick up and it offers an ever increasing difficulty as the players progress.

This game has 125 levels to conquer, time trials, numerous Easter eggs, unlockable achievements, and the ability to compete against friends via the Apple Games Center.

Gunpowder will be available in the Appstore at the end of March 2015 and will be priced at $4.99. It is compatible with the iPad second generation or newer and runs on the iOS 6.0 or above.
