A Look At Sneaky, Sneaky

Be as quiet as you can be, keep to the shadows, and catch the enemies by surprise! This game is all about stealth, wealth, and sticking it to “the man”! The character that the player takes over is a thief, trying to steal the gold and the rubies without getting caught. The higher levels you reach, the more difficult the enemies are to destroy. The good thing about it though is that you’re able to upgrade your character stats and buy items that will help you along the way. You’re also able to return to lower levels to try and get a better score (also a good way to level up without getting killed a lot of times in the higher levels!)

The only things that I didn’t like was the movement, you couldn’t easily slip into a bush without being seen and sometimes it took a very long time to either slip away or be able to stealth kill an enemy. Also, there’s no actual tutorial to tell the players that you have to use your mouse to point and click nor does it explain that after you get a bow, you can still use your dagger and that there’s no complicated system where you have to equip your weapons.

I think that if this game had a chance to have armor, then that would definitely make this game more interesting. I understand that you’re a thief and are suppose to be sneaking around and therefore armor shouldn’t be involved however, the enemies get more difficult and it’d be nice to have at least some leather rather than simple cloth/linen clothing.

Other than that, the game is definitely fun to play; it’s like a lighter version of Rockstar’s Manhunt; because they are hunting for you and you do have to kill and stick with the shadows!

Sneaky, Sneaky is available on Steam to buy for $10.00.
