For fans of the MMOG that has recently moved to a free-to-play model on PC, there is even more good news coming down the line in just a few days. Trion Worlds’ Defiance Silicon Valley expansion will launch Aug. 5th at a cost of nada, free, zip, zero. Not much of an investment to try the game out if you ask me.
“Within the expansion, players will find Karl Von Bach has disappeared into Silicon Valley with his EGO-imbued followers, but it’s not the paradise they promised.” With Grid overrunning the valley, and a strange cult, Pilgrims of the Guiding Light have taken hold in locations across the zone. New mysteries unravel as residents of Silicon Valley call out for help. Only the arK hunters have what it takes to face the upcoming trials.
