For those who have kids between the ages of five and 12 have chores and a lot of the time, kids tend to drag their heels and don’t do them until the last minute; they would rather play a game than clean their room or wash the dishes. Well Mary Poppins knew best when she made cleaning a bedroom into a magical game. What if your kids could enjoy their chores with a bit of magical fun? Well, it’s technology but we all can pretend it’s magical!
In enters the game Knave of Mazes. Created by the independent games company Outsider Games, kids can now play a game that involves them doing tasks such as cleaning their room(s) or finishing their homework! The game has over 30 puzzles for kids to solve and at the end, they will become a full fledged Maze knight!
What’s great about this game is that kids get their chores done and there’s no In-App Purchases! The game features a password protected “Quartermaster” login that allows parents to list what chores/tasks the kids need to accomplish.
Instead of buying rewards, their rewards are achieved by completing their tasks by collecting things like virtual coins, smoke pellets, keys, potions, and even costumes!
All of their rewards will help them with sneaking past guard dogs or any other puzzle they encounter to gain access into the castle!
Knave of Mazes will be coming out as a premium game on a mobile platform in Spring 2015.
Help your kids go from being knaves of the Maze to a Knight of the Maze!
