NEW Just Cause 3 Gameplay Revealed

15 minutes of epic chaos revealed.

Avalanche Studios and the folks at Square Enix have teamed up with YouTuber NerdCubed, allowing him to play a pre-alpha version of Just Cause 3 and to reveal to the rest of the world the revolution that is coming to consoles, December 1st 2015. This new Just Cause 3 gameplay, showcases the epic explosions, driving and combat along with a host of new gameplay mechanics like the wing-suit, multi tethers and physics engine that completely overhaul the game from it’s predecessor.Watch the explosive action-open world gameplay below.

Pretty epic huh?

In this new gameplay trailer, we see Rico exploring his homeland island of Medici and unleash a destructive rampage against the strongholds of General Di Ravello the new “bad guy” of the series. In Just Cause 3, we see Rico return to his homeland of Medici and start a revolution against Di Ravello as he attempts to free his homeland from the brutal dictator’s clutches, no doubt with the support of Sheldon, Kane and The Agency (who are expected to return to the blockbuster franchise).

Just Cause 3, gives you all you need to create massive explosions and cause chaos, all with a light-hearted approach and a completely free open world to rampage around in for hours on end. For example, instead of just blowing up a statue of Di Ravello, why not make him slap himself to death or plow through him with an expensive military jet? Or why not tether on to a military helicopter and force it’s friends to attack it or maybe attack them from the helicopter?

BOOM! Headshot!

Whatever you want, whenever, Just Cause 3 provides what every gamer needs from the ground up. Avalanche Developer, Christopher Sundberg, explained in an interview with Polygon. “It’s a gamer’s game,” says Sundberg. “If it was too easy, I don’t think our players would be encouraged to explore and experiment with the game. That’s half the experience of the game, just finding those ‘holy shit’ moments. ‘Whoa, I didn’t believe you can do that.’ Re-creating those moments you see in Michael Bay movies.” Essentially, the ethos of what looks to be this years most fun is, do whatever you want and do it how you want to, providing gamers a massive playground to have fun and enjoy themselves in, not a lot of games today have that principle. That is why, Just Cause 3 looks to be so special and if the memories of Just Cause 2 are anything to go by this game will be worth every penny.
