For a few months it had been rumored to bring a first person view to Grand Theft Auto V and today, Rockstar Games have confirmed it.
The good points about this view point: It will make first person shooter people very happy; it will require more skill to look down the scope of a gun, to aim. It will also make travelling in a vehicle more exciting.
IGN has played the first person view and has said: “There’s so much new about this version Grand Theft Auto V, but it’s obvious Rockstar was keen to deliver something above and beyond a technical upgrade – it’s given players an entirely new way of playing the game. From shooters to action games, we’re all used to adopting the first-person, but the way in which this new perspective transforms the GTA 5 experience can’t be understated; it fundamentally alters how you inhabit and interact with this world. It rewrites the experience.”
Rockstar’s news wire states that this view allows for an optional first person cover system but also state that with the next generation and PC version allows for more animations and the views can be switched with ease by touching a button.
Rockstar also confirms that everyone who pre-orders the game for next generation consoles or PC will receive $1M GTA dollars with more vehicles and weapons plus a maximum of 30 people in each lobby than the current at 16 people. Heists have not been mentioned as of yet but then they’ve been getting ready for next generation for this game; bringing more life to the game, higher definition, and faster frame per second.
Only two more weeks (18th November) before the game drops into video game stores for next generation consoles and the PC version on the 27th January 2015.
