Developer Aeria Games have announced that F.E.A.R Online will be free to play starting from 17th October 2014. After trialing and modifying a Beta version of the game, they announced that they are going to officially release this edition.
F.E.A.R. was a First Person Shooter horror game. This new addition to the series will be coming to Steam for F.E.A.R fans to play online. The narrative of F.E.A.R. Online occurs parallel to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and aims to keep the horror element while focusing on the first person shooter action.
It has a four player combat mode with 10 maps and a crafting system that allows players to create their own weapons.
For those F.E.A.R. fans that felt that the beta version was lacking the F.E.A.R. core, Aeria Games promises that the redesign promises more of a punch.
